I work on the parts users feel but don't think about.

General

Most of my work is TypeScript and React — Swift and React Native on the mobile side, sometimes both on the same project. Mobile taught me to care about performance in a way the web lets you ignore; you can't hide behind a loading spinner forever.

My instinct with hard problems is to keep cutting until each piece is small enough to be obvious. Somewhere in there, engineering and product stop feeling like separate jobs. Both are mostly about deciding what to leave out.

Outside the screen

I DJ'd for a few years before I started writing software, and I still keep a small studio at home where I do a bit of tufting. Most of what I make there ends up on a wall, not a floor.

A lot of what I now think of as engineering instinct really came from those years, learning to keep tweaking something until it stops bothering you.

Roles
Parklane Studio

Mobile Engineer
Building the mobile side of AI-powered products; performance, architecture, and the kind of UX decisions that don't show up in the brief.
Offbrand Studio
2024
Software Engineer
Built web apps for creative brands, mostly frontend. Focused on animated interfaces, Web3 integrations, and complex interactive experiences.
Flashpay
2022 — 2023
Web3 Developer
Sole developer of the full crypto payment flow; wallet connection, transaction signing, on-chain confirmation, backend reconciliation. Built it end to end.
Metadapp Studio
2021 — 2022
Frontend Engineer
Worked across a suite of Web3 products — new features, component systems, and clearing out technical debt in a React codebase that had grown faster than it should have.
